A Rafah, quatrième d’ouverture.. comme un roman ! Et même, il est prévu que ça continue demain ! N’empêchent que les conditions continuent à être inhumaines, (violence, extorsions, etc.) Aujourd’hui, les toilettes débordent et il n’y a plus d’eau courante.
Comme je le disais hier, des centaines de Palestiniens entrent et sortent de Gaza, mais au prix d’une attente interminable et arbitraire, dans des conditions insupportables (rackett, bastonnade, etc).
Le camp international pour ouvrir la frontière est toujours en place, depuis maintenant 17 jours ! Les participants actuels sont une quinzaine, dont cinq internationaux. La police est très dure avec les militants égyptiens qui rejoignent le camp, mais il semble que c’est un résultat acquis. Nada a même pu obtenir d’un officier que les Egyptiens soient traités correctement.
Paki et Marta (USA) vont aller passer deux jours au Caire pour discuter avec leur ambassade, la police et le renseignement égyptiens, le ministère des affaires étrangères, etc. Elles vont aussi participer à une conférence de presse, convoquée au Caire jeudi 2 juillet.
_ La frontière est ouverte tous les jours, c’est un premier pas vers la fin du siège. Pour en venir à bout, il faut que la société civile se mobilise partout. C’est le mois de juillet, prenez un billet pour le Caire et venez passer une semaine sur la frontière pour faire partie de ce mouvement historique.
_ Adressez-vous à vos gouvernements et aux ambassades américaines et égyptiennes, pour soutenir l’action de ce camp international qui exige l’ouverture permanente de la frontière de Rafah et la fin du siège sioniste, illégal et meurtrier.

June Tuesday 30th :
Rafah Border has been open for four days !.. and it is said that tomorrow, the border will be open again ! Even if the conditions are inhumane, hundreds of Palestinians got in and out of Gaza Strip. Violence, extortion, no more water in the overflowing toilett, etc.
The international camp to open Rafah border is still there, and has been holding its ground for 17 days ! Today, the members were 15, five being from USA, France, Norway and Italy, the others Egyptians activists, who are very badly treated by the police. However, the fact that Egyptian activists are in the camp and stay there has been conquered. Nada talked today to an officer and obtained that thety would be treated properly.
Paki and Marta (USA) are going for a couple of days in Cairo, to meet with people in US embassy and Egyptian foreign affair department. They will also take part in a press conference on Thursday July 2nd.
_ The border is open on a daily base and it is a significant pace towards the end of the siege. To open Rafah border for good, the civil society has to mobilise everywhere. This is July, take an airplane ticket for Cairo and come on to join the international camp for some days or a couple of weeks. Make your holidays part of this historical movement !
_ Send messages to your government, to Egyptian and USA embassies, demanding the end of the siege and supporting the action of the international camp on Rafah Border.
