June Monday 29th :
Rafah Border has been open for three days ! Hundreds of Palestinians got in and out of Gaza Strip, but after waiting for an amazing length of time (hours and days, but some have been waiting for weeks and months). The human rigths are not respected and the conditions at the border are unbeliavable (violence, extortion, etc)
It is said that tomorrow, the border will be open again. But, today, for instance, it opened at 3h p.m.
Yesterday, only 2 buses out of 10, were allowed to enter Gaza. Each of these buses carries about 80 passengers. Most of them, ill or injured.
« It is a gigantic mess, the Palestinians are treated like cattle » says Jeanne, from the international camp, « worse !.. it is like if animals were kept in jail without anything to eat or drink for days, and suddenly, they are released into the bullring.. here, it is the borde compound, where most of them will have to overnight, another opportunity to rustle them ».
Egyptian citizens, students are joining the camp on a dayly base, but we need more citizens of the world. If you are concerned with solidarity and if you want to put an end to the zionist siege, do not think about what you will do next year, do something right now !
_ Send messages to your government, to Egyptian and USA embassies, demanding the end of the siege and supporting the action of the international campp on Rafah Border.
For the end of the illegal and murderer siege. For the freedom of circulation for goods and people.
