These are dark times for the people of Gaza as missiles continue to rain down on Palestinian civilians. What makes their suffering all the worse is the fact they have absolutely no way of escaping the onslaught. Nor can the outside world gain access to the Strip in order to witness the suffering and offer aid and medical support. As the land borders remain closed, Aloha Palestine wishes to offer some hope for the future.
Our service will offer the only way to travel to the region in great numbers without passing through a single Israeli or Egyptian checkpoint. This booking form is for Palestinians in and out of Gaza, aid workers, students, journalists, individuals and groups concerned with human rights and all those who wish to see for themselves the reality of life in Gaza. By booking now you will establish your position within our queue thereby determining when you will be able to travel on this historic ferry service.
Aloha Palestine intends to be operational in the Spring 2009, running weekly trips or as necessary. So please take this opportunity to fill in this simple form, by doing so you will not only be booking your place, you will also be affirming the need for our service; this in turn may accelerate our process of becoming operational. If the number of people wishing to travel with us is as great as we believe, we will have thousands of bookings, so book now.
Priority for travelers will be given to Palestinians, in particular those Palestinians who are in need of urgent medical care not available in Gaza and students who are being denied access to education abroad. Customers in these categories will have their tickets subsidised by the Aloha Palestine Trust, our charitable arm, and their travel will be free.
